We believe in the power of waste as a resource for inclusive development.

Our Vision

Safe, sound and inclusive e-waste management worldwide.

How do we get there?

By setting up enabling and inclusive solutions like E[co]work Spaces.

Micro-entrepreneurs have been active in the recycling sector for a long time and thus they have a lot of valuable experience and knowledge to contribute to a sustainable recycling ecosystem. Yet, in most countries, these micro-entrepreneurs, commonly referred to as the ‘informal sector’ are seen negatively, often considered illegal and ignored by most formal stakeholders. We are convinced that this sector is a key partner in a circular economy that benefits everybody. We support their right to process and create a livelihood from waste materials without health and environmental hazards. As a not-for-profit platform and enabling service provider for micro-entrepreneurs, we focus on the triple bottom line impact, rather than profit from our activities.

Our vision would not be possible to achieve without support.

We want to thank for all support received so far. Especially for donations and the project co-funding by Repic, the interdepartmental platform of the Swiss federal offices SECO, SDC, FOEN and SFO.

Many more organizations and individuals have provided invaluable support to our projects. Find more infos below. Do you want to become part of this ecosystem? Get in touch with us!
